    Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellbeing Lead to join our team. As the Wellbeing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing initiatives that foster a culture of well-being within our organization and the wider community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide coaching and mentorship: Offer guidance and mentorship to Wellbeing Coaches and other staff as needed, fostering their professional development.
    • Implement Collaborative Relational Practice: Focus on applying the Collaborative Relational Practice methodology at a practical level to enhance team dynamics and client interactions.
    • Lead reflective practice: Lead and actively participate in reflective practice sessions within the team, including team meetings, decision-making processes, service planning sessions, supervision, and staff development activities.
    • Offer direct individual support: Provide direct individual support to visitors at the center, utilizing your expertise in a compassionate and understanding manner.
    • Oversee group program delivery: Supervise the delivery of various group programs to ensure they meet the needs of visitors and align with organizational objectives.
    • Coordinate needs assessment and intake: Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate the initial needs assessment and intake process for visitors to the Centre as required.
    • Participate in partnership development: Engage in partnership development activities with local hospitals, health services, GPs, and other relevant organizations to enhance support networks for visitors.
    • Promote engagement and participation: Encourage and support the engagement and participation of visitors in all levels of program planning and delivery in collaboration with all staff members.
    • Contribute to research and evaluation: Contribute to the evidence base and generate local practice knowledge by fostering research and evaluation activities within the organization.
    • Utilize routine data: Use quantitative and qualitative data to monitor visitor experiences, service impact, and changes over time at both local and broader levels.
    • Strategic planning and decision-making: Utilize aggregated data for strategic planning, decision-making, advocacy, and promotion at service, regional, state, and national levels.

    You will have:

    • Lived experience of recovery: Candidates must have personal experience of recovery related to mental health, drugs, alcohol, trauma, or their role in supporting or caring for individuals facing these challenges.
    • Willingness to identify as a professional with lived experience of recovery: Candidates should be comfortable and willing to openly discuss their own recovery journey and its relevance to the role.
    • Strong understanding of recovery processes: Candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of recovery processes and be able to articulate and advocate for the value and strengths gained from lived experiences of recovery.
    • Ability to role-model and develop recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practices: Candidates should possess the ability to lead by example and foster a culture of recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care within the service.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills: Candidates must exhibit strong leadership qualities and attributes.
    • Experience in using coaching and mentoring skills: Candidates should have previous experience in using coaching and mentoring skills, or be prepared to undergo training to further develop these skills.
    • Willingness to share lived experience purposefully: Candidates must be willing to intentionally share their lived experience to support the recovery and growth of service visitors and staff.
    • A nuanced understanding of mental health systems and service navigation: Candidates should possess a nuanced understanding of mental health systems and be proficient in navigating services.
    • Integrity, credibility, and open communication: Candidates must demonstrate integrity and credibility in their actions and communications, fostering an environment of open and transparent communication.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment: Candidates should be able to work productively in a fast-paced, changing, and dynamic environment.
    • Establish and maintain respectful professional relationships: Candidates must establish and maintain respectful professional relationships with clear boundaries with service visitors, staff, and partner organizations.
    • A valid and current Australian Driver's License
    • A valid and current NSW Working with Children's Clearance
