About the Role

Full Time, Permanent position available
CSD level 4 from $88,840 $92,872 pa prorata +Salary Packaging + Super
Located in Liverpool Head to Health

Overview of the position

Lead the Peer Support workers to work alongside a multi-disciplinary team consisting of mental health clinicians, mental health registered nurses, medical officers and consultant psychiatrists.

What will you bring to the role?

Lived experience of mental illness, mental health crisis or caring for someone living with a mental illness and demonstrated experience of recovery
Experience of the public or private mental health system
Proven experience at managing teams within the area of community service delivery or providing supervision
Mental Health Qualification: It is a requirement of the Wellbeing Practice Lead position that you hold, and provide Neami evidence of, a Mental Health (or equivalent Human Services, Community Services) qualification of Certificate IV level or above
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of the recovery model
People with lived experience and/or Aboriginal background are strongly encouraged to apply
Knowledge of complex mental health and drug and alcohol issues
