QBD Marketing Solutions (Formerly known as OUR QBD) is a leading marketing company in Australian Chinese community. As a full- service agency, the work in our portfolio covers a range of event management, creative, design, and digital marketing initiatives.

Key Activity and Initiatives

• Creating materials by hand or use technology and creative software suites to generate illustrations, layouts and designs

Designing brochures, magazine covers and backs, billboards, brochures, web pages, advertising for a variety of media formats and annual reports
Generating drafts and mockups of proposed designs for the client to review and make revisions as requested
Maintaining client communication from project start to finish
Reviewing final work with clients and make final revisions or deliver the product to the client
Developing marketing strategies for projects, including company websites and social media
Working closely with the other team on program development and implementation
Creating and executing lead generation programs
Analysing data to determine campaign efficiency
Ensuring creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines
Developing and communicating marketing plans, campaign results and project recommendations to senior management team
Working with the marketing and public relations departments to prepare budgets, setting deadlines, creating concepts and identifying the objectives of the event
Implementing budget, invoicing and logistics
Selecting and negotiating with vendors and monitoring their activities to ensure quality control
Managing the promotions, communications and branding aspects of the event
Supervising Caterers, Junior Event Coordinators and security teams
Resolving problems and guest inquiries before and during the event
Approving all activities for the event
Preparing reports and making a presentation to management after the event
Any other duties assigned by line manager

Qualifications and Skills

Degree in Marketing or communications;
Proven experience (2 years+) in graphic design/digital marketing is preferred;
Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail;
Proficient knowledge of graphic design software;
Analytical skills to assist in reporting and capturing insights from digital marketing efforts;
Strong organisational and time management skills;
Can speak, read and write in Chinese is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
