We currently have an exciting opportunity for
Casual Broadcast Designers based at our Sydney Broadcast Centre at
Martin Place.


This role includes:


  • Taking stories and briefs, bringing them to life for our news broadcast shows such as 7News, Sunrise, The morning show, and The Latest.
  • Creating news story graphics, infographics, maps, studio set graphics, statements, etc.
  • Working across a variety of rostered shifts, in and outside of normal working hours across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays to service the graphic requirements of our News broadcasts.
  • Working in a fastmoving and vibrant environment where no two days are the same.

The skills and experience we are looking for in you include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Digital Communications, Multimedia, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After effects.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to new ways of working fast.
  • Maintain close attention to detail while working under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Producers, Reporters, and fellow colleagues.
  • Great time management and a sense of urgency
  • Can work independently and as part of a team with a proactive attitude.
