About the role


The Digital Officer, in collaboration with the L&D team, develops engaging digital learning and resources (digital & print), as part of the Standards Australia Academy for our internal and external customers.

This role focuses on creating on-brand learning aides, resources, and eLearning courses to assist in building capability and performance to contribute towards Standards Australia's business outcomes.


What you'll do

  • Design engaging online learning material for a range of industry sector stakeholders (Including instructional videos, eLearning courses, and other types of learning multimedia.)
  • Consult and conduct training needs analysis, that contributes to learning program development, design, improvement, and implementation
  • Content layout of print learning resources & infographics for print & digital
  • Ensure the Standards Academy (LMS) is maintained, updated & onbrand
  • Research, provide bestpractice and innovative design ideas and concepts to the L&D function
  • Maintain accurate records of time frames relating to learning design, and provide regular reporting
  • Work collaboratively with the Learning and Development Team
  • Contribute to higher production values in the outputs of the team in terms of layouts, iconography, graphics, video, and audio
  • Ensure a highquality user experience throughout the learner engagement in our courses

About you

  • Graphic Design/Instructional Design Qualification OR 2+ yrs. industry experience
  • Knowledge of: Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Articulate Storyline, Vyond, Camtasia and Intermediate Microsoft Office.
  • Able to translate technical information & concepts into simple visual forms
  • Proactive, professional and customerfocused approach with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds
  • Receptive to feedback and continual improvement
  • Ability to work autonomously with high attention to detail in a highvolume, fastpaced environment
