- Lead the operating rhythm for Planning & Reporting that aligns Strategic Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Reporting and Business Review cycles.
- Analyse business performance trends and drivers to explain actual vs budget, forecast and prior year, including delivery of monthly reports for Regional and Group business reviews.
- Build user friendly financial models to analyse business performance including tracking of strategic initiatives. Examples include Risk and Opportunity scenarios, project reporting and benchmarking, performance dashboards.
- Assist with CEO, CFO, GM, Group Reporting and ad-hoc requests as required, with all material being produced to a very high standard, reconciled and validated.
- Generate commercial insights that can be proposed to the Executive Team to mitigate financial risk and improve business performance.
- Drive continuous improvement of the financial planning process to enable efficient responses and a deeper level of analysis.
- Business product owner of new FP&A tool, driving adoption throughout finance and ongoing improvements to maximise the use and benefits for Vinidex.
- Act as a Champion for the adoption and transition to Power BI across the finance function including working closely with Power BI and IT Project Leads to automate ongoing and regular business reporting.
- Establish strong relationship with key Global Head Office FP&A team and ensure timely provision of high quality reporting.
- Professional qualification (CPA/CA)
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience liaising with multiple levels within an organisation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written with an ability to prepare "Board level" presentations
- Demonstrated capability to drive and implement transformational change within area of responsibility
- Advanced analytical skills and ability to bring insight and perspective
- Experience with driving process improvement, automating processes and standardisation
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy/integrity of reporting
- Experience using and developing FP&A tools (e.g. SAP BPC, Jedox, Anaplan, TM1 or equivalent)
- BI Experience (Power BI)

About the Role
The Planning & Performance Manager plays a key role in supporting Executive teams in leadership of the business and is responsible for understanding and framing the business' performance narrative (current and future) both for local and Group requirements. In addition to ownership of the end-to-end financial planning and forecasting processes, the role includes both ad-hoc analysis to deliver insight, and regular reporting cycles to senior management and Aliaxis Group alongside supporting capital allocation and investment processes to drive increased shareholder value over time.
