We are seeking an experienced
Performance Marketing Manager to join the NRMA's Brand and Marketing team on a 12 month parental leave maximum term contract.

This role is responsible for performance media lead generation for all NRMA Roadside & Membership products in collaboration with key marketing, digital and product teams and managing performance marketing campaigns and reporting with the media agency.


This role will also provide a high level of support and consulting to the digital and marketing teams across the NRMA group of companies to assist with developing excellence in customer journeys, online customer experience, and to lead and build culture and processes that enable a customer first mindset and data led decision making to achieve business objectives.


Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Contribute to develop and maintain Performance Marketing strategies for all product areas including the development of annual plans that define budgets, strategies and KPIs
  • Manage a performance media budget
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders within the wider marketing group and more broadly across the business including providing support on strategy and budget
  • Develop consistent test and learn frameworks encompassing targeting, ad copy, ad design and landing page variations
  • Manage media agencies to develop & implement SEM campaigns
  • Monitor SEM performance daily and weekly as required and host monthly performance review and planning meetings with internal stakeholders and media agency
  • Define and implement KPI's that are consistently understood and shared across agencies and the business
  • Keep up to date and provides thought leadership to team e.g., emerging digital strategies and available tools, including social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying
  • Ensure ongoing optimisation of established campaigns versus new tests
  • Establish frameworks, track and analyse performance of our media/digital channels & investments including interpretation and reporting of trends, recommendations and insights to optimise future performance
  • Responsible for data visualisation through Data Studio, reporting and presentations, delivering compelling representations of data that tell a story
  • Work with the digital team to ensure that site tracking is in place to optimize campaign traffic conversion and ROI measurement of all campaign activity
  • Manage financial budgets alongside forecast trackers, internal finance team, media planning team and media agency as well as managing aged debt for both performance and all internal teams
  • Manage the media agencies planning team regarding MBAs & invoicing
  • Provide monthly updates and reviews to internal stakeholders including the GM of Marketing.

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary level qualifications (eg bachelor degree) in a relevant discipline (_desirable_)
  • Background in agency or clientside with experience in motoring, travel and tourism industries (_desirable_)
  • 5+ years' experience in similar digital marketing and/or media roles
  • Track record in development and implementation of performance strategies that have had a demonstrable impact on commercial outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of publishers and media vendors, including latest ad tech solutions
  • Significant experience with performance media and campaign performance metrics with a focus on revenue outcomes
  • Advanced use of Google Analytics for analysis and reporting.
