The Opportunity
We are looking to appoint an experienced Program Performance Manager, based in our Sydney Office.

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the performance reporting and forecasting resources and function on major water projects.

You will work closely with Alliance Manager, the Alliance Management Team (AMT) and project managers to ensure that program meet established goals and objectives and operate efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities:


  • Work with Alliance Manager, the AMT and project managers to develop program budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Monitor program spending and ensure that budgets are being used effectively and efficiently.
  • Identify areas for program improvement and work with Alliance Manager, the AMT to develop and implement improvement plans.
  • Track and report on program progress to the Alliance Manager and the Alliance Board and other stakeholders within Sydney Water.
  • Provide regular insights to the AMT on trending data and potential improvements
  • Ensure data availability for reporting and decision making
  • Identify and manage program risks, including developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with program partners, stakeholders, and other external entities.
  • Manage the alliance cost intelligence framework and independent verification of TOC pricing development
  • Provide occasional estimating resources for conceptual or upstream options analysis

What you will need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as construction management, business, engineering, or program management) or relative on the job experience as a project controls manager.
  • At least 5 years of experience in program management, with a focus on programs and performance evaluation and 1015 years in a relevant project controls discipline
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing budgets and allocating resources.
  • Experience with risk management and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders and partners from different organizations.
