The Transport Performance Manager is responsible for the management of the supply of transport services to support the Qantas Operations.

In this newly created role, you will manage the commercial, operational and strategic related aspects of the transport portfolio, specifically the management of the third-party provider in the delivery of airside and landside bussing services.

You will work closely with all airlines within the Group and wider Operational teams to ensure there is alignment on approach - ensuring project governance, safety standards and operational performance are aligned Group wide.


What you'll bring to the role:

  • Contract management experience in large and complex contracts with many and varied stakeholders, ideally within an operational company
  • Bachelor of Business, Commercial operations or equivalent
  • Problem Solver with strong stakeholder management skills, with an understanding of how to manage commercial relationships in a collaborative and effective manner.
  • Results driven with experience in leading or influencing highperformance teams working under pressure to deliver against deadlines
  • Excellent communicator at all levels and through many different mediums
  • Able to influence and drive positive supplier relationship while efficiently achieving the desired outcomes for the company
  • Flexible and adaptable: willing to adjust per daily demands, including unexpected tasks
  • Ability to manage conflict and facilitate resolution while maintaining positive working relationships
  • High degree of attention to detail and a high level of personal integrity
  • Understanding of the airline business both operationally and commercially would be beneficial
  • A positive, results focused disposition and do not shy away from challenges being thrown your way
