As the Executive Manager, Business Performance and Optimisation you will drive the development of the strategic agenda and optimise performance for Small Business Banking (SBB) and provide support to the implementation of strategy, planning and operations for the Domain.
Do work that matters
- Drive centralised operational procedures and tools to ensure consistency across all teams including key performance indicators, regulatory delivery and strategic planning.
- Support SBB Leadership Team to define commitments and outcomes and provide strategic project guidance.
- Define and continuously improve SBB governance and reporting requirements including milestones, benefits and risks.
- Leverage data driven insights to guide continuous improvement opportunities with key decision makers.
- Lead development of initiatives that build business community awareness and advocacy of Commbank across the market
- Develop strong relationship with business partners to develop and implement initiatives to drive performance
- Provide people leadership and management and lead the capability uplift approach for others in the Performance discipline.

- Possess strong strategic thinking and a drive to get things done.
- Strong, demonstrated Leadership and stakeholder management experience
- Strong commercial lending experience and commercial acumen
- Relevant experience in driving a high performance culture, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong Oral and written communication skills, including proven ability to work collaboratively with business partners and stakeholders
- Sound Operational Risk and Compliance knowledge
- Have a passion for and strong understanding of Small Business including awareness of key challenges and opportunities.
