    Description
  • Servicing Consumer Goods industries including Food, Pharma to maintain and manage existing business and customer base.
  • Develop new business opportunities within Omya manufactured products.
  • Develop new business for Distribution (traded) products with a focus on Food Ingredients.
  • Maximise profitability and manage receivables for all existing customers.
  • Provide marketplace feedback particularly concerning competitive activity.
  • Ensure a safe working environment
  • ​Tertiary qualificationin Science, Chemistry or Food Science disciplines​
  • ​2-3years of experience in sales and account management within the Food Industry, salesexperience in chemical distribution environment advantageous
  • Team player, open communication style with willingness to impart and share knowledge at all levels.
  • Highly motivated and results driven.
  • Excellent level of planning, development and implementation of sales and marketing plans.
  • Computer literate in MS O360 and willingness to learn and use SAP, Sales Force, OMIS, OPUS and other internal systems.​
  • Frequent travel within the sales territory of Victoria. Elsewhere in Australia and occasionally beyond may be required.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.​
  • Full work rights in Australia.
