THE COMPANY


People2people is excited to partner with a world leading provider of telecommunications hardware as they launch in Australia and grow their team in Melbourne.

Known for their premier network support and bespoke service, this is a great opportunity to join a global company as an Account Manager/Business Development Manager.


THE ROLE


Working under the guidance of the Country Manager, you will be responsible for new business development as well as building long term relationships within a defined segment to ensure sustained repeat business.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Service and develop current accounts within a defined segment or portfolio
  • Work alongside Country Manager in the launch phase in Australia
  • Generate sales with client account including upselling or crossselling
  • Identify, develop, and close sales through sustained prospecting and activity

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to present yourself well and confidently liaise with key stakeholders
  • Strong drive to excel and succeed
  • Must be available to travel occasionally interstate and to New Zealand
  • No previous technical skills in telecommunications necessary

Salary on offer is up to

$70,000 - $80,000 + Super + Commission
