Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our head office located in Melbourne CBD and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The Account Manager will be responsible for providing assistance across all areas of the finance and operation departments.


The role is all about having the right attitude and drive, you will be a proactive team player who is keen to grow your career in a friendly, supportive, busy and diverse environment.


Key responsibilities will include the following:

Financial Accounting:


  • Manage daily cashflow management and reporting
  • Manage daily bank reconciliations to ensure no outstanding entry
  • Working closely with external accountant for monthly BAS, Tax, Super national payroll tax and compliance reporting
  • Providing ongoing financial support to all 4 campuses (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide)
  • Develop, implement and monitor appropriate financial systems, procedures and internal controls to support the efficient and effective operation of the Finance function
  • Support the CEO in overseeing the management of the company's financial resources, including cash flow, investments, and assets
  • Support the CEO around budgets, spending, reporting and financial accountability
  • Performing ad hoc analysis proactively or as directed, to provide performance insights that aid growth and focus appropriate resource allocation
  • Provide financial and analytical support to the CEO
  • Develop strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of communications and resolution of issues.
  • Mange all daily, weekly and monthly management reports (excel based)
  • Manage and working closely with Accounts payable team for outstanding bills, invoice payment, contractors payment.
  • Manage all administration charges of nontuition fees
  • Manage accountant payable for all education agents commission and supplier payment
  • Manage Fortnightly payrolls for all casual, part time, full time and contractor salary payment.

About You

  • Minimum Two (2) years' experience in finance and accounting role.
  • Confident personality that enjoys managing and leading teams.
  • High degree of professionalism as you will be handling confidential / sensitive information.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Superior competency level of Excel skills (v look ups & pivots)
  • Experience using accounting software such as XERO.
  • Experience using Student Management System
  • Highly developed problemsolving skills.
  • Results focused.
Expected Start Date: 05/02/2024


Salary:
From $85,000.00 per year
