Do you have fund accountancy experience, and are you seeking a new full-time job in Melbourne, Australia? Apex Group is looking for a Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager, and the role comes with an excellent salary and benefits package.

As a Fund Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and growing a team of Senior Fund Accountants and fund accountants involved in the areas of NAV calculation, shareholder/unitholder reporting and financial reporting.

You will maintain the client relationship and take responsibility for the coordination of regulatory reporting audit preparation, along with the company's new client take-on and due diligence requirements.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
Ensure timely and accurate NAV calculations are prepared, reviewed and delivered on a daily, weekly or monthly basis along with any other client specific reporting requirements

Ensure their accuracy and compliance with fund governing and regulatory procedures
Operational onboarding of new and takeon funds and ensuring everything has been prepared prior to the launch
Review Limited Partner/Shareholder/Unitholder Allocation includes a review of Admin/ Management fees/Waterfall/ Clawback calculations, etc
Preparing and reviewing financial statements as required annually.

An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines

An accountancy qualification
Excellent collaboration and written communication skills
Excellent PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel (Experience on Paxus, Efront an advantage).
