Operations management for the Consulate General of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency. Responsible for the following:
• Facility and Building management for four properties in Toronto. This includes maintenance/repair, renovations, and vendor management.
• Finance: Keeping track of all budgets and finances within the Consulate. Managing the Backoffice for handling and processing the invoices and themain contact person for vendors.
• Project and Event management: In charge of multiple projects within the Consulate such as public diplomacy events (minister visits and incoming trade missions) as internal events.
• Internal Affairs: Responsible for the HR of 15+ employees and 5 local staff (cleaning and maintenance staff). Keeping track of contracts, putting everything in systems (sick/leave), instruct local employees about the law changes and responsible for the on- and off boarding.
• IT: Responsible for the soft- and hardware at the Consulate and first point of contact for the IT department at the Head Office in The Hague.
