    Randstad is searching for a skilled and accomplished Senior Policy Officers who possesses a keen eye for detail and excels in their field. This role requires the ability to build and sustain strong relationships. Our collaborative department is in need of an enthusiastic individual who embraces challenges and is committed to making a positive impact within economic, financial, and resource initiatives for the state government sector.

    About your new role

    The Senior Policy Officer, under the Director of Regulation Policy, Risk, and Insurance, leads within the Regulation Group, providing top-tier advice to government on regulation policy, regulator governance, risk, and insurance. They support a team that develops evidence-based policies, addresses government and community issues, and offers strategic advice on state regulators.

    What you will need to exceed

  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track record of preparing exceptional verbal and written briefings and advice, proficient at articulating complex issues convincingly.
  • Familiarity with economic frameworks or policy development, showcasing analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in solving intricate problems.
  • Consistent delivery of timely advice and products to key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in interpreting complex information, including data analysis to grasp underlying issues. Desirable
