Description

The Policy Officer, Energy Efficiency will work with a team in delivering the government's priorities for the Victorian Energy Upgrades program.

The program began in 2009 and has the objectives of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, encouraging the efficient use of gas and electricity, and fostering investment, employment and technology development in industries that supply goods and services which reduce the use of gas and electricity by consumers.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Experience or qualifications in energy efficiency, engineering, law, communications, energy economics, science or public policy is desirable.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
