    Business Development Manager (Commercial & Pro Audio) - Group Technologies (Full Time) - Sydney, NSW

    Group Technologies (GT) is a renowned professional audio distributor in Australia. With a successful track record spanning over two decades, we excel in providing top-notch service, marketing, logistics, sales, and support to our vast network of dealers and systems integrators nationwide.

    About The Role

    We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our expanding Commercial & Professional Audio team. As the Business Development Manager (Commercial & Professional Audio), you will report directly to the Sales Director. Your responsibilities will include working with Performance Theatres, Live Event Venues, Hospitality, House of Worship, Corporate sectors, and more. You will be in charge of nurturing existing relationships, discovering new project opportunities, and boosting sales in the commercial and professional audio domain within your region.

    Scope Of The Role:

    • Engage with end users to drive market demand for GT's commercial and professional audio products
    • Identify and cultivate new business within the construction industry and Systems Integration partners
    • Manage customer accounts across Audio Visual Systems Integrators, Consultants, and End User Clients
    • Act as the primary sales contact for commercial/pro audio project inquiries and opportunities
    • Collaborate with consultants on brand discussions and product specifications
    • Prepare and submit quotations & tender responses for audio systems/solutions
    • Oversee end-to-end sales pipeline, forecasting, and closures
    • Support marketing initiatives with press opportunities, product training, and seminars
    • Participate in dinners, events, and trade shows to drive GT's growth and brand portfolio

    Key Experience & Skills:

    • Seasoned sales professional (6+ years) with AV industry expertise
    • Strong communication and presentation skills to engage effectively at all levels
    • High work ethic, energy, and a drive to expand sales in the commercial and professional audio sector
    • Extensive Audio Visual network eager to advance in a high-growth business
    • Ability to travel interstate and internationally a few times a year
