Our Client Partner is a reputable builder and developer specialising in home residential projects in NSW. With strong branding awareness and great ambition, the business is growing significantly and aiming to expand interstate.

Explore the Opportunity:

This role will focus on our residential apartment & mixed-use projects.

Key accountabilities

Familiar with and manage the entire development process and have all the same attributes as a good developer
Strong ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals and external consultants.
Be the brand representative for the business when communicating with external parties
Enable to foresee potential risks and challenges, as well as opportunities to maximise the profits of a project.
Analyse, advise on, review, and determine project and program risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to ensure the Projects division meets its obligations.
Managing all aspects of the development lifecycle, from acquisition of land through to construction and occupation
Research and analyse development issues and propose suitable solutions.
Appoint and manage external consultants.
Consult with authorities and senior stakeholders.
Ensure projects are developed in a timely manner that is consistent with the acquisition strategy and feasibility.

Key Challenges

Managing reporting and team coordination requirements to meet milestones and objectives given the highvolume work environment and competing priorities.
Managing linkages and dependencies with other projects and initiatives and risks are identified and addressed.
Delivering against internal expectations and partnering with key stakeholders to deliver on expert advice and professional services.

Qualifications & Attribute requirements:
-

Formal qualifications and/ or relevant experience in construction management, property development or relevant business discipline.
Minimum 810 years' experience as a Development Manager
Ideally you will have worked for a residential developer/builder
Experience in all facets of land development from design to delivery through to sale and settlement.
Exceptional relationship building skills, driven through outstanding communication verbal and written.
Excellent organisational and time management skills and attention to detail. The ability to prioritise effectively and thrive in a busy environment.
Awareness of the policy, process and the relevant statutory requirements that underpin property development and construction.
Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving and decisionmaking skills and ability to synthesis complex information.
