Our opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Development Manager to join our Sydney team supporting Master Planned Community projects. The Riverlands project consists of 311 Mirvac built homes within a Community Title development in LGA of Canterbury Bankstown.

The development includes Community Facility, open space, 2.5km foreshore remediation and footpath along the Georges River and significant infrastructure connections.


Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Create and manage project feasibility
Establish and manage budgets and cash flows accurately.
Ability to enter into and negotiate/finalise negotiations.
Review and manage development programme and brief.
Possess thorough understanding of planning system and ability to seek and obtain Development Approvals.

Expertise in legal, regulatory, and other industry matters, with the ability to provide recommendations for actions internally within project feasibility.

Identify and manage risks and opportunities to optimise outcomes and know when to escalate to management.

Ability to identify all aspects of development including identifying deficiencies, standardisation, innovation, revenue time and cost to extract maximum value.

Ability to see and communicate 'the bigger picture', new business opportunities, and put together requirements.
Ability to chair and run efficient and meaningful meetings.
Your point of difference

You will be professionally qualified with demonstrated Development experience working on residential projects.

Your experience will be either low-density built form (homes, duplex or terrace) and/or Master Planned Community (civil and land development) experience.

A thorough understanding of project feasibility is essential.


Your communication and writing skills will be of a high calibre, you will be confident creating detailed written reports and have the ability to chair meaningful meetings.

In addition, you will have strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to drive outcomes while effectively dealing with ambiguity and complexity.
