    We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller to join the Patterson Cheney Toyota in Keysborough.

    About the role:

    • Coordinating daily workshop activities and assigning repair orders to service technicians - using our Dealer Management System
    • Managing the workshop team to maximise productivity, efficiency and profitability.
    • Maintaining an on-time delivery rate
    • Identifying technician strengths and weaknesses to allocate work effectively whilst creating opportunities to develop the team's skills
    • Working with Service Advisors to communicate vehicle progress and additional work needed to customers.

    About you:

    • Previous dealership experience as a Foreman or Worksop Controller
    • Qualified automotive technician (Toyota experience preferred but not essential)
    • Ability to maintain workshop productivity and efficiency levels
    • Strong organisation and leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor, including apprentices
    • Be reliable, self-motivated, with a great work ethic
    • Demonstrate a high degree of teamwork with the ability to work within a dynamic workshop environment
    • Hold a current Australian driver's licence
