  • Working for Mercedes-Benz Australia in this full time permanent role, you will become a brand ambassador and embody our reputation for service excellence and our care in providing flexible, innovative and tailormade solutions.   • In this position based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, you will be responsible for overseeing process landscape, driving and further developing efficient processes and effective Internal Control System (ICS) at Mercedes-Benz Australia Pacific (Cars and Vans), as well as Mercedes-Benz New Zealand.

  • Key duties & responsibilities:
  • ICS Management
  • Lead an effective Internal Controls System according to corporate requirements, compliance program and local laws and regulations in order to identify and mitigate risks
  • Conduct Internal Controls System management and rollout in accordance to global guidelines, in close consultation with the Business
  • Coordinate change management initiatives in line with global standards
  • Regular review of control execution and follow up on action items
  • Facilitate ongoing training of ICS topics to the business
Business Process Management- Support of business process owners in process review and design and ensure they are compliant with and in accordance with both local legal regulations and internal global framework

  • Documentation and review of business processes
  • Further development and standardization of documentation
  • Drive and facilitate business process development with process stakeholders
  • Maintenance, communication and publication of guidelines
  • Provide recommendations, consultation and best practices regarding the continuous improvement of guidelines and work instructions

Qualifikationen:


  • What you will need to be successful:
  • Relevant University Degree (finance/ accounting/ auditing/ business / management)
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Finance processes preferred
  • Internal Controls / Audit experience would be beneficial
  • Min. 5 years in finance / controlling/ audit/ project management/ compliance or similar area (within comparable industry)
  • Ability to formulate and present conclusions
  • Sense of responsibility, selfassurance and independence with strong business ethics
  • Experienced in process improvement, continuous improvement and change management
  • Management and Leadership skills, including the ability to articulate Mercedes-Benz standards and expectations as outlined in the relevant policies
  • Strong communications and facilitation skills
  • Analytical thinking and resultsoriented
  • Strong project management capability
