Woodburn PS has an enrolment of 114 students, of whom 19% are Aboriginal.
Classes comprise of five mainstream classes and two support classes – an Autism and Intellectual disability class (AU/IO), and a Multi-categorical class (MC).
The school's Family Occupation and Education Index (FOEI) is 128.The school has a dynamic team of teachers and support staff, who are led by an executive team comprising of 1.0 Assistant Principal (AP), and 1.2 allocation of Assistant Principal, Curriculum and Instruction (APCI).
The community of Woodburn was heavily impacted by the flooding event of 2022, and the school is continuing to prioritise supporting families and students through a strong focus on wellbeing and community connection.
