- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem-solve effectively and identify technical and safety based risks
- Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and engineering programs
- Ability to work to a time frame and deliver on budget
- Understanding of Australian and common International standards including regulatory authority requirements within the mining industry, preferable
- A commitment to HSE and zero harm
- Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Wood is recruiting for a Lead / Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals business based in Perth, Western Australia. This role will be initially site bases in the Kwinana Strip .

Wood is recruiting for a Lead / Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals business based in Perth, Western Australia. This is initially a site based role in the Kwinana Strip.
To be the ideal candidate, you will have an understanding of Mining and Minerals processing, with a minimum of 15 years of post-graduate experience. You will join us with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects, a proactive nature, and willingness to learn. You will also have:
