FIFO Role, 3 Weeks On Site

Newman/Mt Whaleback Site Location

About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking a H&S Officer to join our leading Construction and Mining Client for a casual 3 week position, completing end July, 2023.

This position will be based on site in Newman/ Mt Whaleback (FIFO).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Understanding legal and other requirements related to health safety and Environment

Deep knowledge of HSE standards within the mining industry

Hazard identification

Evaluation of health and human factors, methods for exposure monitoring and assessment of occupational health and safety and environmental risks, human behaviour, person-to-person, and person-to-machine interactions

Conducting risk assessments (including determining controls based on hierarchy of controls, and risk communication.

Skills and Experience:

Tertiary Qualification in HSE Space or Equivalent.

Prior BHP Site Inductions/Exposure.
