The Turner & Townsend family is looking for a
Purchasing and Procurement Officer (FIFO) to join our growing Natural Resources.


Job Description:

We work on projects of all sizes from one-off developments to mega-programmes, from planning the future development across large Natural Resources projects to site based construction of individual projects, while helping the largest companies in the world.

We cover everything from leading teams, planning works, tracking progress and business case delivery to bringing assets into use.

To be successful in this role:

  • Provide a dedicated purchasing service to support Site and Perth based departments.
  • Liaise directly with site customers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of procured goods and services
  • Support our site teams and internal stakeholders with order queries
  • Negotiate with suppliers for best price and products that meet requirements.
  • Be comfortable with a 2 week on 1 week off site based roster.

Qualifications:


  • Full working rights and be currently in Australia.
  • Previous experience in a Purchasing Officer type role
  • Proficiency in SAP is preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Team player with the ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills.
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering value and excellence to your clients.
