This role is based at our mine site locations in the Northeastern Goldfields of WA, with multiple mining operations both open pit and underground.

Description:

The Opportunity


Reporting to the Site Business Manager, the Site Services Superintendent oversees a range of support services on site including village, travel and accommodation bookings, mobilisations, administration and IT.

This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster.

About the Role

Administration of contracts specific to responsibilities;
Develop and maintain village inventory control systems, processes and procedures (receiving & issues and expediting & returns);
Ensure storage systems are effective;
Be the primary point of contact for all Supply governance and compliance issues and requests including facilitation of internal and external audits;
Manage camp facilities and personnel logistics;
Planning, implementing, developing & maintaining IT & communications systems on site and;
Develop, implement & maintain WHS & Environmental policies and programs to meet company policy and legislative requirements.


Skills and Experiences:

About You

At least 5 years demonstrated senior leadership experience preferably in a mining environment;
Extensive experience in village or administrative services functions on operational sites;
Experienced in managing site-based activities for business improvement projects;
Sound written communication skills and ability to correspond with all stakeholders;
Willing to work on wide range of projects and tasks;
Sound computer skills, able to use Microsoft office suite; and
Current WA class C manual drivers licence.
