Description

Our client, a Tier One Mining Operator, is looking for an IT Support Analyst to join them on a 12-month contract basis.

In this FIFO role, you will be responsible for ongoing IT support across multiple sites and camps in the Pilbara region.


12 Month Contract (Approx end date December 2023)

Roster: 8 Days On / 6 Days off

12.5 hours per day

Key Responsibilities|

  • Log all issues in Service Now and liaise and communicate IT related work to the business representative of the designated site.
  • Create, develop and update support documentation for the site, raise issues or suggestions for improvements to support documentation where possible with peers or other IT teams.
  • Act as an escalation point amongst peers, providing peer support and guidance where possible, coordinate work at site when delegated by other IT teams.
  • Work autonomously and be accountable for site Technology, this includes, Desktop, Servers, Radio Comms, Networking and Software queries
  • Be accountable for all site printers and be point of contact for Canon service engineers
  • Relocation of offices and office equipment, which includes setting up comms racks and installing Cisco switches and WiFI AP's
  • Point of contact for all Telstra queries across the site with regard to 4G and 3G connectivity
  • Manage all aspects of Technology queries across the site's from a varied customer base
  • Site based procurement and stock management on a daily basis for end users
  • Liaise with Project Management team based in Perth and carry out site surveys and feed information back to Perth
  • Provide oncall after hours support as required of the role.

About You |

  • Previous level 12 Help Desk / Service Desk experience (mining FIFO experience a bonus)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, or related experience
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Office 365, ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco
  • Strong time management & organisational skills, able to prioritise & multitask
  • Proven IT change management, incident, and problem management skills
  • Australian C class driver's license
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and First Aid training (highly desirable)
  • Full working rights for Australia
