    Description

    Our client is seeking a talented Senior Manager for Compliance & Capability within Resilience, Technology & Data to join their Operational Risk & Compliance team. This role offers stimulating and rewarding work with reach and impact across the Enterprise. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn, grow and develop within a global footprint. The position will require you to strategically develop and implement pathways that align with an evolving focus on regulatory preparedness, and team capability development in the face of complex banking regulations, operational resilience standards, global AI regulations, and third-party risk management.

    What you'll do:

    As a Senior Manager Technology & Data Risk, you will be at the forefront of shaping strategies that align with our evolving focus on regulatory preparedness. You will lead the strategic development of pathways that enhance capabilities in operational resilience, technology, and data-related risk domains. Your role will involve active collaboration with regional and international stakeholders to ensure effective training programs are in place. You will also be responsible for developing KPIs to track the effectiveness of technology and data capability uplift initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring regulatory developments within the technology and data domains.

    Lead the strategic development and implementation of pathways to enhance the wider IB risk and compliance team's capabilities in operational resilience, technology, and data-related risk domains.
    Collaborate with regional and international stakeholders to ensure effective training programs and compliance guidance cover diverse geographies and regulatory frameworks related to these domains.
    Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of technology and data capability uplift initiatives, as well as improvements in operational risk and compliance efforts.
    Actively monitor and analyze regulatory developments and industry trends within the technology and data domains.
    Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on technology and data-related compliance matters.

    What you bring:

    The ideal candidate for this Senior Manager position brings a wealth of experience in technology risk, operational risk, and compliance. You should have proficiency in integrated risk management across technology, data, cybersecurity, and emerging risk dimensions. Your understanding of the international regulatory landscape in emerging areas of technology will be crucial to this role. Experience in preparing for and responding to regulatory scrutiny is also essential. Furthermore, your ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory requirements to various stakeholders will be highly valued.

    • 8+ years' experience in technology risk, operational risk, and compliance.
    • Proficiency in integrated risk management across technology, data, cybersecurity.
    • Solid grasp of the international regulatory landscape in emerging areas of technology.
    • Experience in preparing for responding to regulatory scrutiny.
    • Ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory requirements.
