RACV's Program Management Team is part of the Membership Division.

Our purpose is to facilitate enterprise prioritisation and timing of project delivery and to deliver the technology projects that enable RACV's strategic agenda.


The role


As the Technology Program Manager, reporting to the Head of Project Delivery, you will play an important role to drive consistent delivery, compliance, and governance of projects within the program to achieve intended business outcomes.


Success in the role will require an ability to effectively plan and deliver multiple inter-related projects and manage their inter-dependencies, whilst leading a team of indirect reports and vendors.


You will have a deep understanding of the current technology landscape and experience delivering a broad range of technology projects, be proactive and hands on in approach, as well as skilled at engaging and influencing team members and business stakeholders.


We're looking for

  • 35 years of Program Management experience scoping, mobilising, delivering and/or recovery of technology projects
  • Graduate degree in Business, IT, or related discipline
  • Project Management related certification(s)
  • Experience leading the planning and delivery of a program of technology projects across a broad range of IT segments including but not limited to Cyber security, Network resilience, Applications and Digital platforms to support a rolling investment in current and future technology assets.
  • Applied knowledge of project and program management methodologies, tools, techniques, and artefacts including both waterfall and agile methodologies, and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • Demonstrated experience business, project, and complex service delivery planning, determining approaches to be taken to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
  • Leadership communicates vision, sets clear direction for project team members, and delivers strong management support and advice
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of highquality project artefacts/documents such as concept proposals, business case, project plan, presentations/reports for project steering committee and other governance/management forums
  • Solid experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Jira / Confluence
  • Prior experience working in a memberbased organisation is preferred
