    This renowned global pharmaceutical company is dedicated to providing innovative therapies for patients with unmet medical needs. Specializing in Haematology, Oncology, and Rare Diseases, they strive to enhance and save the lives of individuals battling severe illnesses.

    We have partnered with this leading company to establish their national team for an upcoming launch. We are seeking a Business Unit Head to spearhead the pre-launch and launch strategies, oversee the commercial function, and steer the team towards success as the business expands.

    Reporting to the General Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

    • Preparing for the launch of the rare disease portfolio in Australia
    • Supporting local market access strategies for the product portfolio
    • Developing and executing operational and brand plans across functions
    • Achieving sales targets and driving business growth for existing products
    • Leading, coaching, and mentoring a high-performance team
    • Establishing a pipeline of talented individuals for future roles
    • Collaborating with the local and global cross-functional teams
    • Contributing to the company's culture and the expansion of the local branch

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • A proven track record as a Commercial leader in the pharmaceutical sector
    • Experience in managing and inspiring teams
    • Strong strategic marketing skills with a focus on execution
    • Preferably, experience in rare diseases for pre-launch and launch activities
    • Excellent skills in building customer relationships, communication, and collaboration
    • The ability to prioritize and make decisions in various therapeutic areas
