    Description

    We are looking for an Assistant Village Manager and Sales Manager to join our team in Bateau Bay on a Full Time basis.

    This is a dual role where you will assist the village manager with sales and oversee the day-to-day operations of our Retirement Villages Elderslee Village, Kiah Lodge and Karagi Court, while ensuring an outstanding experience and quality service to our residents.

    Your New Role

    What does your new role look like?

    • Assisting in managing a small team which include administration, gardening and maintenance officers, delivering effective leadership, providing coaching and ongoing support
    • Engaging in the community; gaining resident feedback and building strong resident and business relationships
    • Effective financial management; overseeing and delivering financial budgets, reporting, processing orders for contract services
    • Meeting with Resident Committee; gaining valuable insight on community operations and opportunities
    • Conducting self-assessments; identifying gaps and improvements aligned with the ARVAS Standards
    • Engage with current and prospective residents and families, providing a meaningful and seamless experience for the resident; focusing on their goals and facilitating a warm transition to care.
    • Maintaining and maximizing resident occupancy levels; monitoring referrals/sales inquiries and ensuring a high-level customer experience.
    • Building a strong referral network of service providers, health professionals, community groups and other community partners to support referral channels
    • This is a full time role Monday to Friday however you will be required to be the second point of call outside of hours when the Village Manager is unavailable.

    About You

    • Proven experience in a similar role within management or sales
    • Currently hold or be willing to obtain a realestate license.
    • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgetary and financial management
    • A compliance driven individual with thorough knowledge of the ARVAS Standards and Retirement Villages Act 1986 would be beneficial
    • Strong stakeholder engagement, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
    • Experience in leading teams and managing gardening/contract services
