    Description

    THE COMPANY

    With over 40 years of experience in the Victorian construction space, this company builds a variety of commercial projects up to $20mill.
    Their office is located in the Eastern suburbs and is easily accessible by public transport and they pride themselves on repeat business through the delivery of top-quality builds and focus on their core values of safety, quality and value for money.
    They have projects secured through the end of 2024 including numerous childcare, medical, industrial, multi-storey and fuel station projects and are looking to expand their current team to meet these demands.

    This company has multiple projects across Metro Melbourne so they're looking for a Safety Representative to work closely with OHS Labourers and Operations Manager.

    THE ROLE

    • Roaming role across Metro Melbourne. You will need your own vehicle and be prepared to travel. You will be expected to cover anywhere up to 3 sites at any given time.
    • Estimated 70/30 split between Safety tasks and assisting with hands on tasks on site
    • You will have OHS Labourers reporting to you on different sites
    • You will report up to the Operations Manager and work closely with tehm on a day-to-day basis
    • Safety Walks, Audits, WorkSafe notifications, toolboxes

    SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    • MUST HAVE experience within the Commercial construction industry
    • Certificate IV in WHS/OHS
    • Additional tickets including Traffic, First Aid, EWP, Spotters will all be highly beneficial
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Hands on/can do attitude

    WHAT YOU'LL GET

    • $120-130K package (Base + Super + Car allowance)
    • Progression to an off-tools role eventually based on performance
    • Work with a well-nowned Tier 3 Commercial builder
