    Mechanical / Electrical Instrumentation Sales Engineer - New South Wales, Australia - Macro Recruitment

    Description

    A full-time permanent role within a well-established technology provider(providing products and services to the various industries in NSW including mining, water/wastewater, food & beverages, cement and more) cement and more. For a Sales Engineer - Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation interested in promoting and growing the sales by providing process measurement consultation and solutions to customers in mining and minerals.

    Requires Sales Engineering Experience and a certificate level / diploma level / degree level qualification in mechanical / electrical engineering / instrumentation disciplines
    - Based in Sydney
    - Salary : Base 90k to 110k + On Target Bonus of 20k

    A normal day will have you create sales opportunities allowing you to work in your own terms in a flexible manner and your own routine. WFH and Travelling within the state is involved.

    • Reporting to Regional Sales Manager
    • Be conversant with all products features, benefits, and application.
    • Continually prospect for new opportunities
    • Maintain regular face-to-face and phone contact with all clients.
    • Manage customers to create tailored business solutions.
    • Develop and recommend annual sales forecasts for the region/business propose budgets and advise management on the market strategies required to achieve sales targets.
    • Plan and manage the sales effort in the region
    • Monitor the market within the region of control and advise management of changes in competition, product availability, quality reports or related matters. Participate in the development of a marketing policy, recommending product inclusions and pricing changes.
    • Collaborate with other internal sales personnel or external as nominated in the planning and executing of special projects and programs within the regions.
    • Develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients and attend to key accounts personally to ensure satisfaction.
    • Participate in the recruitment, selection and training of sales staff
    • Ensure business negotiations are undertaken under advice from Regional Sales Manager and CEO
