      As part of the Private Wealth Operation division, the team member for Financial Control will perform accounts related tasks, daily reconciliations for all products for the business unit; protecting client money and ensuring market settlement obligations are met.

      About you

      You are an Accounts professional with excellent reconciliation experience coupled with organisational and time management skills allowing you to juggle multiple priorities and work under pressure. You possess experience in a similar role within Financial Services in particular the Private Wealth industry, coupled with a general understanding of financial markets and investments, and an undergraduate degree qualification in Commerce/Finance /Accounting. Similar experience will be considered.

      You are a team player, who enjoys problem solving, has a customer-centred work approach, good verbal and written communication and presentation skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail, a strong customer service focus, and a proactive work approach.

      Day to day you will:
      • Undertake daily operational reporting and validations of general ledgers
      • Daily banking and general ledger reconciliations
      • Perform accounts receivable tasks in relation to processing of trail commission for advisers and receipting revenue
      • Process fees and billing related tasks
      • Perform team or function related administrative tasks
      • Cross skill and support other team members within the Financial Control area
      • Any ad hoc tasks assigned by Team Manager.
