    About Our Client

    Our client is an Australian privately-owned food manufacturer and distributor, offering a diverse range of products. They are a key private-label supplier to major retailers and sell under their own brands. Additionally, they are a leading supplier of ingredients to local and global FMCG food manufacturers in Australia and New Zealand.

    With steady growth over the last 40 years, they have become one of the leading food businesses in Australasia with a turnover approaching $500 million. Recently, they expanded by acquiring upstream businesses in the supply chain and diversified into other product offering and revenue streams.

    To accommodate their growth, they have moved into a purpose-built state-of-the-art combined manufacturing and distribution facility with cutting-edge automation. They have also relocated their offices to new premises.

    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a team of 7 in all aspects of the corporate finance function including financial accounting and reporting, treasury, A/P, tax, banking, payroll etc. There will also be opportunities to contribute to projects that arise from the constant growth of the business. This role involves regular interaction with the CEO, senior management team, shareholders and the Board.

    The Successful Applicant

    You will need to hit the ground running in this dynamic business so previous corporate finance experience in a complex or fast paced organisation is required, preferably with a chartered/business services background. You will have an eye for detail, an investigative nature and always looking for a better way. Advanced Excel skills are required and exposure to AX Dynamics and Cognos/TM1 would be beneficial.
