    About the role:


    The Senior Policy Officer, Service System Design – Infant, Child, and Youth (Age Streaming and Community), leads the design of key reform components required to establish new Infant Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Services, and to build a responsive and integrated mental health and wellbeing system.

    To be successful in this role, you will be a high performing team member with strong policy development and systems thinking skills; complemented by superior communication, problem solving, and project management capabilities.

    You will also have experience in monitoring program budgets, analysis and presentation of data, and ability to work flexibly to respond to a range of emerging issues and evolving priorities.

    Written Communication - Prepares briefs, letters, emails, Power Point presentations and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language; ensures written communications contain necessary information to achieve their purpose; uses appropriate style and formats.

    Teamwork - Cooperates and works well with others in pursuit of team goals, collaborates and shares information, shows consideration, concern and respect for others feelings and ideas, accommodates and works well with the different working styles of others, encourages resolution of conflict within the group

    Qualifications and Specialist Expertise
    Qualificiations - A tertiary qualification in fields related to public policy, project management and/or public health is desirable.

    A demonstrated record of achievement in developing policy or providing policy advice on initiatives and a sound understanding of the Victorian health system would be advantageous.
