    Description

    A unique leadership opportunity with a Top 10 Accounting firm known for its practical, insightful, and sharp Accounting, Financial, and Taxation services. We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to join the team in North Eastern Victoria region, in the Audit and Assurance division.


    • Strategize audit engagements by identifying risks, formulating audit strategies, establishing timelines, coordinating team members, and negotiating fees.

    • Identify areas for further development within the team to build greater Audit capability

    • Offer coaching and support to foster skill development among team members.

    YOU | As a Senior Manager, you will be the primary point of contact and accountable for overseeing multiple audit engagements. You will supervise and support assigned engagement teams in all facets of the audit process. To thrive in this role, you will have:


    • A degree in Accounting or a related field with a major in Accounting.

    • Completed CA/CPA

    • 7 or more years audit experience of which 3 years have been in professional services or a client service orientated capacity

    • For the right candidate, relocation and Visa support can be considered.

    THE ROLE | As a Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in advancing and overseeing the development and capacity management of individuals following the Adviser Support Pathway. Your primary focus will be cultivating and sustaining an engaged Adviser Support team. You will be responsible for reviewing, managing, and successfully concluding multiple audit engagements. This involves optimizing team utilization and ensuring the timely completion of audits in accordance with budgetary requirements.
