    Description

    Senior Manager - Forensic Accountant

    We are seeking an accountant interested in joining a dynamic Forensic Accounting team in Melbourne. The right candidate will gain experience in conducting forensic analysis and investigations and be able to demonstrate the ability to handle with ease matters such as disputes, valuations, and litigation work, and be able to provide written reports on those findings.

    As a Forensic Senior Manager, you will apply critical thinking and analysis skills to identify key issues with financial and non-financial information and report on these within a variety of dispute advisory projects. Some of your duties will include:

    • Take the lead on Forensic Appointments, lead the quantification, analysis, and modelling of financial and non-financial information to assess economic loss.
    • Conduct research and analysis of a variety of business, industry, and economic data/information.
    • Work in the construction of valuations for a range of businesses within a litigation or contentious context.
    • Plan and manage projects and cases.
    • Be able to actively liaise with clients and referrers on a day-to-day basis.
    • Work directly with the partner to ensure deliver of projects

    The candidate should have the following to ensure they are fit for the said role:

    • A focus on Business Valuations, Dispute, and Litigation work
    • Experience of at least 6-10 years working in a relevant CA firm
    • CA Qualification
    • Strong ability to lead engagements, with excellent report writing skills
    • Leadership and people Management experience
    • A genuine interest in growing your forensic accounting network and bringing in work to the firm
    • Good attention to detail, analytical brain, and lateral thinking.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, particularly in explaining technical concepts in plain English.
    • Continuing interest in developing and maintaining knowledge of current and evolving economic, business and industry issues.
    • An ability to work with changing and competing for priorities to meet deadlines.
