    We have an opportunity for an Instrumentation Technician to join our Service team in Sydney. Being a part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in SAGE's mission to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients, offering vital electrical and instrumentation technical support.

    Primary responsibilities include:

    • Carrying out the preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and instruments for clients of SAGE.
    • Fault-finding diagnostics on equipment.
    • Install instrumentation and control equipment as per scope of works.
    • Calibration of instruments
    • Utilise instrumentation drawings, specifications, standards, and equipment manuals.
    • Pre commissioning and commissioning of instrument loops
    • Process inspections and critical function testing and calibration.
    • Undertake plant inspections to ensure Hazardous Area conformance standards are met, and any required rectification duties are carried out to maintain these standards.
    • Managing drawings and technical data sheets using the document management system.

    Mandatory requirements:

    • At least 2 years post qualification experience working in the industrial sector.
    • Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all industry and business licences required for the role. These include:
    • Cert III in Instrumentation or Cert IV in electrical and Instrumentation.
    • Restricted Electrical License. (Included in Cert III in Instrumentation)
    • Low Voltage Rescue and CPR certification.
    • High Risk Work Licence (WP).
    • Working at Heights.
