About the role


This is a great opportunity for an experienced Biomedical Engineering Technician The role includes providing equipment maintenance and technical support function under limited supervision.

You will be working with a small team in a dedicated area and expected to carry out acceptance testing, calibration, maintenance, repair, development, education, documentation and other technical support services with regard to the medical technology to both Concord Hospital and Canterbury Hospital.

Equipment maintenance can include both medical and scientific instrumentation and can be electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic in operation.


We are looking for someone who has...**- An Associate Diploma in Electronics (or other qualification judged equivalent).

  • Experience in repair and maintenance of electronics equipment, electromechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic layouts as applied to medical and laboratory electronic equipment.
  • A current NSW Driver's license (P2 acceptable).

About working for SLHD
