    Be Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a part-time School Psychologist for a well-respected school located on Sydney's Lower North Shore.

    The role:

    • Support students through behavioural and cognitive assessment, psych-education and counselling using evidence-based interventions
    • Work positively with the school community to achieve positive outcomes for students
    • Organise classroom workshops, and educational programmes for students and families to promote and discuss well-being topics
    • Manage crisis issues that may arise
    • Build key working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders such as Social Workers, Families, GP's and other Allied Health professionals
    • Maintain clear and precise case notes
    • Work collaboratively in a team

    Essential criteria:

    • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
    • Experience with CBT as well as a strong interest in positive psychology and related therapies;
    • Familiarity with trauma-informed interventions
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team;
    • Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice;
    • Experience in providing quality evidence-based services for children, adolescents, and their parents ideally in a school setting
