    About the team

    You would join a team of fellow Solutions Consultants based in Sydney who are all about collaboration, knowledge sharing, and proactivity to help solve our customer's technical needs. Asking questions and checking understanding are all embedded in the culture here as we drive the team to be the "go to" people on how products are work technically and how to sell them commercially.

    This role plays an integral role in the sales process utilizing in-depth product knowledge to provide payments expertise and recommended solutions to new and existing clients. You will work alongside our Business Development and Relationship Management teams to understand customer's requirements and troubleshoot pain points to then devise the optimum payment solution. Worldpay have a vast product set that encompasses gateway services, acquiring capabilities, alternative payment methods to traditional debit and credit cards, fraud management systems, and treasury services which is where you will look to pull the best solution from.

    What you will be doing

    • Responsible for supporting our sales teams by facilitating in-depth discussions with customers regarding their payments strategies.
    • Leading conversations with customers in the technical discovery phase to the scoping of the solution phase, through to handover to the implementation team. This will roughly be 75% new business and 25% existing business (there will be some travel requirements).
    • Being the voice of the customer when engaging with our product teams around roadmap items, new requirements, and commercialising new releases.
    • Engaging with Business Development and Relationship Manager teams in pre-sales technical dialogue (e.g. proposed integration approach and developing presentation materials)
    • Other related duties as assigned.

    • A bachelor's degree or equivalent with technical pre-sales experience in a corporate environment.
    • Experience of talking through technical solutions to external stakeholders.
    • Ability to influence external stakeholders.
    • Track record of presenting complex solutions.
    • Analysis of business and vertical trends.
    • Easily navigate an international business to get things done independently.
    • Team player.
    • Ability to keep up in an ever-changing industry.
    • Comfortable with a work hard, but also have fun team.
