The Opportunity


Prospection is at an exciting 'scale-up' stage expanding and scaling both our product platforms and analytics services in key international markets.

However, the ANZ business remains at the core of who Prospection is and critical to generating profitable revenue and growth that will underpin and sustain that expansion and innovation.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, ANZ, the Principal of Client Solutions roles are responsible for selling and delivering a mix of Prospection product + service engagements which they will achieve by uncovering, understanding and then solving for the client's business needs.


This role has a strong emphasis on 'creative solutioning at scale.' Working with the Principal, Client Solutions, you will use your knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape, analytics and problem solving, disease area and therapeutic knowledge and network and client engagement skills in partnership with other key functions within the organisation (Client Solutions Operations, Analytics, Health Strategy) to define, sell, scope and solve real world healthcare problems through data & analytics.

As directed by the Principal, you will be responsible for or support on individual accounts and the development of account plans that are aligned to the overall ANZ sales strategy in consultation with and collaboratively with other key stakeholders (e.g. Commercial Excellence Lead, Analytics and Health Strategy).

You may be the primary point of client contact and will help conduct and coordinate work across teams to together deliver a portfolio of product + consulting solutions.

You will also act to maintain client relationships and to embed the value Prospection can bring e.g.

through involvement in or the leading of regular business reviews with clients to deliver superior insights (in collaboration with Analytics and Health Strategy) and potentially uncovering new opportunities to provide solutions to business questions for clients.


Through your interactions with our clients and your insights into the questions they are trying to answer, you will also play a key role in helping shape and build new approaches and methods to adapt and scale our portfolio of offerings by allowing us to channel those insights into our Product team in order to inform on possible product enhancements or new features.

  • Take a central role in implementing the ANZ business vision and objectives and supporting the strategic development of the business
  • Act as a business owner, leading account planning, client interactions, business development efforts, and regular business reviews (incorporating appropriate Analytics and Health Strategy input to deliver valued insight to the client)
  • Solve for clients' needs in collaboration with other teams (Analytics, Health Strategy) through the appropriate mix of Product and services, leading the scoping, closing and delivering against assigned revenue target and new business KPIs including New TA subscriptions and upsells with existing clients.
  • Work with Health Strategy + Product + Engineering on presales demo configurations and POV given specific disease states and client pain points, and conduct demos with client
  • Work collaboratively with the broader Client Solutions Team + Analytics + Engineering + Product to translate and triangulate client articulated needs to Prospection Product/SaaS and/or Analytics/Service in defined Statements of Work
  • Responsible for the successful delivery, implementation, and client management of sold engagements functioning as main point of contact
