    About the Company
    Davidson Recruitment is a preferred supplier for the Government sector and have strong partnerships within Local, State and Federal Government. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Legal Support Officer to commence a contract in the Brisbane CBD

    About the Role
    As a Legal Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting one of the States biggest Government Department legal teams.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Researching information and applying policies, procedures, and legislation relevant to work tasks
    • Keeping supervisors informed of work progress and contributing expertise and organisational skills to achieve outcomes
    • Working independently on routine tasks, identifying problems, and contributing to business improvement
    • Building and sustaining positive relationships with team members and clients, actively participating in teamwork
    • Taking personal responsibility for accurate completion of work, operating within organisational boundaries, and ensuring confidentiality
    • Communicating clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders

    About You
    This role would be perfect for somebody who has a keen interest in the legal space or is currently studying in this area.

    • Proven experience in legal administration and working in a high-volume processing environment
    • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
    • Proficiency in using legal software and tools, such as case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
    • Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
