    Description

    Purpose of the Role:

    Providing day to day administrative support to the Legal Team including general secretarial and administrative tasks. The role will also include assistance with drafting correspondence, contract drafting, legal research and other ad hoc administrative tasks.

    Qualifications:

  • White Card (can be obtained prior to commencement)
  • Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience working customer focused, administrative or problem solving role
  • Executive/personal assistant experience desirable;
  • Exceptional organisational skills; and
  • A meticulous eye for detail and accurate proof reading skills
  • Required Competencies:

  • Solid technical writing and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and ability to take initiative in its own work
  • A problem solver
  • Undertake objective, critical analysis to draw accurate conclusions that recognise and manage contextual issues
  • Work through issues, weigh up alternatives and identify the most effective solutions
  • Stay calm and act constructively in highly pressured and unpredictable environments
  • Take account of the wider business/commercial context when considering options to resolve issues
  • Strong data management, analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Legal Counsel with legal related tasks
  • Assist with reviewing procurement contracts and correspondences
  • Handling office tasks and administrative duties, i.e. photocopying and scanning
  • Working collaboratively with all stakeholders, providing support on relevant contract administration matters
  • File Management
  • Assist the Project Legal Counsel in the preparation of notices and formal contract documentation
  • Maintain a bank guarantee register
  • Assist the Project Legal Counsel with organising and preparing for internal training sessions
  • Prepare overview and quick reference guides to upstream and downstream contract terms
