This leading global heavy mechanical engineering business operates throughout Australia in major capital cities and regional locations. They perform an integral role in the development of Australian infrastructure projects across mining, transport and power markets.

About the Project

Snowy 2.0 is the next generation of the iconic Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme, and construction of this major pumped hydro project is well underway.

Once complete, the Scheme will provide 2000 megawatts of dispatchable, on-demand renewable power and approximately 350,000 megawatt hours of large-scale energy storage to the Australian National Electricity Market.

About the Role
Our client are experiencing acute growth and are seeking an Administrative professional to join the team.

The role is responsible for providing support to Project team, reporting to the Project Director and facilitating smooth on-boarding of new employees.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings for Project team members
Arrange supply of PPE for team members
Arrange preemployment medicals and other ongoing medicals for team members as required
Assist with onboarding process of new team members
Coordinate new team member inductions
Provide project administration support to Snowy Hydro 2.0 Management team
Manage local setup expenses
Coordinate project team meetings and admin tasks to support project deadlines

About you
This will be a high volume support role with administration, logistics and coordination tasks, so we're looking for someone with a can-do attitude that's happy to take on anything

Preferred qualifications in Business Administration is ideal
Must be local to the Cooma region and open to commuting to the office
Preference in a Mega construction project would be an advantage
Must be incredibly organized and pedantic to follow through and ensure all tick boxes are actioned
