    Office Management (Administration & Office Support)

    Full time

    $100,000 – $110,000 per year including Super

    We are working closely with our client a consulting firm in Sydney CBD to recruit an Office and Facilities Manager role permanently.

    The role reports directly to the Chief People and Culture Office and this role will need to be in the office 5 days a week. The main purpose of this role is to manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the office across maintenance, and events and assist with projects.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar office management role with previous experience in hospitality and guest relations would be desirable.

    You will be part of a fun, collaborative and highly regarded team.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Ensuring the Office runs smoothly day to day
    • Maintaining upkeep of office suppers
    • Working with the Senior Leadership team on new ways of working and office improvements
    • Establish and maintain office administration policies and procedures
    • Equipment repair calls and liaising with building management
    • Management of suppliers such as couriers, stationary, and office cleaners;
    • Authorise purchases for stationery, catering, and general office supplies
    • Management and control of budgets for the office
    • Ensuring continuous improvement of office administration systems for example mail and courier systems to Facilities
    • Organise, manage and maintain meetings and appointments
    • Interacted daily with staff, executives, clients, partners, vendors and visitors.
    • Coordinated the scheduling of conferences and events
    • Work with the wider team on projects
    • Organising office events, Thursday drinks and office socials
    • Analyse reports/emails/memos to determine their significance of distribution.
    • Managing and coordinating the meeting rooms
    • coordinating security passes

    Requirments:

    • Experience working as an Office Manager in a Medium-sized professional business
    • Confident being the go-to person in the office
    • Enjoys planning and organising events
    • Experience working with different suppliers and vendors
    • 2 years in an Office Manager role

There is real growth potential in this role – the ability to take on more responsibilities and have true ownership of this space.
