    Description

    As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Amazon Web Services, you will play a crucial role in the Enterprise Support team, guiding the success of enterprise support customers in the software industry as they develop applications and services on the AWS platform. Here's what to expect:

    • Act as a central point of contact for Enterprise Accounts
    • Understand and align with your customers' business objectives
    • Offer AWS service recommendations that align with customer strategies
    • Assess operational performance and provide insightful reviews to customers
    • Provide detailed assessments of service disruptions and prelaunch planning
    • Advocate for customer needs within AWS
    • Engage in customer meetings as needed
    • Collaborate with AWS engineers for swift issue resolution
    • Organize and manage business-critical events for customers on AWS

    We are seeking candidates for locations in Melbourne, VIC, AUS | Sydney, NSW, AUS.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • At least 5 years of experience in roles such as Senior Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, IT Manager/Engineer
    • Background in two or more technical areas such as Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development
    • Experience in software engineering, customer-facing roles, and presenting to varied audiences

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Educational background in Computer Science or Math
    • Knowledge of software development practices and technologies
    • Familiarity with AWS technologies
    • Understanding of technology budget management
