- supporting the coordination and delivery of meetings, drafting agenda, papers and outcome statements, and management of actions arising;
- providing excellent customer service and advice to SRCC Members, Seacare Authority Members, internal stakeholders and licensees;
- supporting the implementation and delivery of governance arrangements and statutory requirements
- managing correspondence and complaints;
- supporting the delivery of the SRCC and Seacare Authority annual reports;
- ensuring the SRCC and Seacare Authority websites provide current, relevant information for scheme stakeholders; and
- assisting with procurement activities as required.

Overview of the Team and role
The Secretariat and Scheme Support Services Team ensures the effective, timely and accurate delivery of support (including Secretariat) to the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission (SRCC) and the Seafarers' Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Authority (Seacare Authority).
The team is responsible for Seacare scheme administration functions, and business planning and governance functions across the Scheme Management business area. The team also provides the SRCC audit and assurance function (for self-insurer claims, rehabilitation and prevention management systems).
The Senior Secretariat Officer provides high level secretariat and administrative support to the SRCC and Seacare Authority to enable them to perform their functions under their founding legislation. This includes:
